Subscription problems

For those students who had problems subscribing to this course in Kusss: please come to the first exercise on 10.10.2007, so that I can get all of you into the system.

Procedure

• you can download the homework problems below
• solve these problems at home
• at the beginning of each class, you have to mark the problems you have solved in a list
• students who marked a certain problem will be called up to present their solution on the blackboard. The emphasis is on presenting your work in a structured, well understandable way to your colleagues.
• for a positive grade, you have to mark at least 60% of the problems in the course, and you have to present at least two problems on the blackboard during the semester.
• your grade will be made up by the number of problems you solved, and by the quality of your presentation
